My
Story

As a junior in college in 2015, I decided that it was time to take my health seriously. I’ve been an athlete for most of my life, but I relied on my natural athleticism and paid little to no attention to strength training and diet. I began by taking classes at a gym near my school and I absolutely fell in love with working out! After taking classes, I decided it was time for me to graduate from the class studio to the big girl area: the weights and machines. Though intimidating at first and heavily populated with many men and very few women, with lots of studying, speaking to experienced trainers and fitness enthusiasts, and a lot of trial and error, my passion transitioned to fitness as a whole.

I started making my own workouts a year later and decided to start posting them to Instagram, where I felt a strong sense of community and accountability from other athletes. I eventually realized that on the platform that I intended to keep me motivated, I was inspiring others along their journey. It was then that I discovered my calling: to assist and inspire others to get up, move, and become the best version of themselves. Women, men, young, old, tall, short, I aspire to get any and everyone invested into taking care of their bodies, minds, and souls.

Early this year, following months of testing and doctor's visits, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. This diagnosis was devastating, especially knowing very little about the disease, how far along I was and what to expect as my life, and the disease progresses. I pride myself on being a woman that perseveres in the face of adversity. When I was diagnosed, instead of feeling sorry for myself and giving up, I felt that it was important that I take advantage of the present and what my body is capable of right now, at this point in my life. This fueled my original mission, giving me more purpose and a goal to prove that we as people are capable of anything that we put our minds to.

As long as you want it and are willing to put in the work, your greatest desires are at your disposal.
